I ask this question already the Greece embassy in Germany but they forward me to the Greece embassy in Manila. I hope you can help with this question.
My Pgilippine girlfriend and I plan a cruise from Dubai to Heraklion. Heraklion is the final destination we suppose to arrive on May 23 at 5am in the morning.
I am a German and my girlfriend is a Philippine citizen. Usually my girlfriend needs a Schengen visa to get access to the EU. But in regards to our cruise, she only stay some hours inside the EU. She suppose to leave the cruise ship at 11am, go by cruise shuttle bus from cruise terminal in Heraklion directly to Heraklion airport and flight back at 1pm over Athen, Doha to Manila.
Is she really need to apply at Greece embassy in Manila a Schengen Visa for the 15 min drive from Heraklion cruise Terminal to Heraklion airport? Or is a kind of transit visa available for such cases.
I really would appreciate a feedback about the formal needs for the transfer between harbor and airport.
