I have written letters so many times to the government to explain how I am suffering. I have written so many letters to the UNHCR, sometimes with evidence of my case, requesting them to help me. I have written so many letters to independent organizations to help them bring to light my problems and the fact that my basic human rights are not respected. The answer of all those letters was a great silence. I have applied at the UNHCR of Turkey since the year 2014. Until now my situation is without solution. I don’t have accommodation and I don’t have any financial assistance. I don’t have any health benefit and insurance, every time I visit doctor at least I have to spend 250-350 TL per visit, also I taking depression and anxiety medication that cost me a lot. No one won’t give me jobs or give jobs with minimum pay, even I can’t pay my rent with that money. I facing a lot problem every day. I am over I can’t wait anymore, few times I tried to killed myself but my friend came across. We, the asylum seekers, are just abandoned. The UNHCR is keeping me for a long time without any follow up. Since 2014 I have kept on complaining but nothing has changed. I am making my refugee status claims without the assistance of a lawyer. Just some few people can afford it. I here since 2014 in Turkey without any human right, I don’t feel safe here you have no idea how many time stolen my personal items at my rooms Why?
